Finally after its high profile audio launch, Kanden is releasing on May 20.  Kanden music was released with a lot of fanfare by Gautham Menon's audio company Photon Kathas, and its music was an instant hit with the youth. Kanden is written and directed by AC Mugil, a former assistant of Prabhu Deva and produced by TCS.

It stars Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj and Rashmi Gautam in lead along with Santhanam in a pivotal role.
The music of the film by Vijay Ebenzer, a former keyboard player with Harris Jayaraj climbed to the top of the charts, but later disappeared from the charts as the film release got delayed.
However the songs from the album, Enge En Idhayam, Oru Paaravai and Narmada became a rage with the listeners.
It  was supposed to release for Valentine day (Feb 14) and now the good news is that it releases on May 20.
